1. Install IDE.
I user Ruby Mine for my IDE. this is paid IDE. but if you use it for personal or for education. jet brain provides free licenses. you can request licence for free here. 

2. Install Java Runtime

for you that didn't have Java Installed in your PC you can Install it from here. ruby runs on jvm so java is the program that you have to install
